Honest answers
Is this ChatGPT?
No. Get-AI is not a language model. It finds answers in the knowledge it has learned or you taught it. It does not write essays, poems or code and does not translate.
Does it need an API key or cost money per message?
No. There is no outside AI service. Every answer comes from your own MySQL database, so there is nothing to pay per message.
Will it run on my shared hosting?
Yes. PHP 8.1 or newer and MySQL 5.7 or newer (or MariaDB 10.3) with one cron line. The learner works in short slices so the host stays happy.
What if it does not know the answer?
It says "I don't know yet" instead of guessing, keeps the question in the Unanswered list and tries to learn it. You can also teach the answer yourself.
What about my visitors' privacy?
No sign-in is needed to chat. Phone numbers, e-mails, Aadhaar and PAN are masked before a chat is stored, IPs are kept only as a daily hash, chats are deleted after 90 days and a visitor can delete their chat.
Can it copy any website?
Only websites you have the right to use: you tick a permission box for each one, and it follows robots.txt. Wikipedia text is CC BY-SA and the source is always shown.
